Vendor Confidentiality Policy

This policy explains how vendors must handle client project details, files, and designs shared through U-Fab. It applies to every bid you submit.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

When you view a project on U-Fab, the client's descriptions, files, sketches, specifications, and any other project materials are shared with you so you can evaluate the project and prepare a bid.

By submitting a bid, you agree to:

  • Keep all project details, files, and designs confidential, and not share, publish, or distribute them to any third party.
  • Use the information only to prepare your bid and, if selected, to complete the awarded work.
  • Not reuse, replicate, or resell a client's design or project concept for any other purpose without the client's explicit written permission.

This agreement applies whether or not your bid is ultimately selected. Violating this policy may result in removal from the U-Fab platform.

This policy is a basic conduct agreement between vendors and U-Fab and does not replace a formal non-disclosure agreement. Clients with sensitive or proprietary projects should discuss additional protections directly with their selected vendor.

U-Fab is currently in an early-access (beta) phase, and the platform's safeguards continue to be developed and refined. This policy sets clear expectations for vendor conduct, but does not by itself guarantee against every possible risk of information misuse.

This policy supplements U-Fab's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Policy version: 2026-08-20
